Patient Data opt in

Patient Data Opt in authorises Outcomes Manager to export patient demographics to any reporting Dashboards that have been distributed to a GP practice

Aggregated data on a dashboard can be drilled down to show patient details. A practice must opt in for this to be enabled.

If a practice has opted in, however a patients record states they have opted out of record sharing, then that patient's demographic information will not be exported or displayed.

Opt in is set by default.

To opt out:

• Click on the Allow patient data to be exported menu item.
• The following message appears

• Click Yes to confirm.

The bold display then fades to indicate patient data sharing is off
