Renaming Central report considerations

When Central reports are created and uploaded, the Rule Nodes that are created as Central report lines as a Central file.

Central report lines behave in the following way:

• If you change a report name it does not overwrite the report in the dashboard. This is because the original report name is left in the dashboard (For audit purposes) and the report figures change to red, to indicate the report has changed its name. The report line moves to the base of the dashboard.

• If a report name and the rule changes significantly, it is recommended you create a new report rather than edit the original. The original can be either be deleted, or if you wish to keep the historic data, alter the report logic, so zero records are returned going forward.
