Export

The Export function exports a Protocol\ pathway into a default location ready for sharing to other developer users. The function creates a number of XML files that will need to be copied and pasted in to the end users Ruleset folders.

If a pathway has a template then this is exported from the Template Design screen.

• Click on the Export control.

A pop up message appears:

• Click Yes.

The files will be exported to the Import\ Export locations:

The files are exported to a number of folders in the following location.

O:\DATA\VisionPlus\ (Your Server name) \Rule Designer

• CodeGroups\CodeGroupsV3 -  These folders contain the Codeset Files that are linked to the pathway. If CTV3 codes are used they will be in the CodeGroupsV3 folder.
• Postcodes - This folder will contain any Postcode files that have been linked to the Pathway.
• Rule Groups - This folder will contain the Ruleset that has been built using the Codeset File. This is the name visible when a pathway is open.

• Staff Actions - This folder will contain any Staff roles that have been applied in the pathway.

The exported files must be copied to the same folders on the target machine prior to import.

Exporting the Template file.

If a pathway has a template then this must also be exported.

• With the active pathway open click on the Templates Designer icon.

The Templates screen opens.

• Click on Distribution tab.

• Click the Export control.

The template will then be exported into the following location:

O:\DATA\VisionPlus\ (Your Server name) \AdditionalTemplates

The exported Template file must be copied to the same folders on the target machine prior to import.
