The Codeset builder function in the Designer screen provides an option to import Snomed expression language.
These can come in the form of published Clinical reference sets or reference sets exported from 3rd party tools (I.e. Snobehr is a Snomed browser and mapping tool)
Example Reference set
A Snomed reference set for all Asthmatics "19567001" excluding acute Asthma + all children "304527002" could look like:

Adding an Open Query into a Codeset file
• Open the Designer screen from the Codeset group menu.
• Click on the Codeset builder icon in the Snomed section.
• Click the Add Open Query button and paste in your Snomed expression language query.
• Click OK and the system will now build the Snomed hierarchies based on the supplied expression.
