Exceptions within the Template Control allow you to create an Exception reporting flag against a Codeset. This is displayed as a red flag icon against a Codeset field you have added on a template:
Clicking the Red flag icon activates the Exception Codeset entry pop up.
Creating the Exception Code
The Codeset that will be used for Exception coding must exist in the Pathway in a Rule Node on its own or as part of another Rule.
• Select an existing Rule Node.
• Click on the Template icon and activate the pop out.
• Click on the Exceptions flag icon.
• From the Select Codeset screen, pick the Codeset you wish to create an Exception code from.
• Click OK and this will add the field into the Exceptions box.
• Click OK to complete the Exceptions process.
