Merge and delete multiple sections

An imported document can be split into elements to create new sections  Splitting a Guideline into sections.

These new sections may not exactly suit your needs as the split process makes a best guess on how the sections should be created. New sections can be further merged or even deleted to make the final Guideline suit your needs exactly.

Merge

• Open the Guideline that has been split into new sections.

• Hold down the CTRL key and select the sections you want to merge. (Sections to be merged can be selected from anywhere in the Guideline)

Example. Seven sections selected (Highlighted with green dashes)

• Click the Merge selected sections icon.

• Click OK

The selected sections now merge.

Delete

• Hold down the CTRL key and select the sections you want to delete. (Sections to be merged can be selected from anywhere in the Guideline)

• Click the Delete selected sections icon.
